"Absence"
This selection of night photography depicts areas of social gathering, busy routs to and from places of work.
Our points and places of passing and meeting are absent of human inhabitants during the night time, taking on a new perception of loneliness, rest, danger and trepidation. However perceived, this small body of work looks to find a beauty in absence and uncertainty, a quality and feature that is most effective, gratifying and telling: The beauty of emptiness is that, there is nothing.
